Many companies will use delaying tactics
to avoid settling unpaid invoices. Therefore, prompt action
is required to be taken by issuing proceedings and bringing
the matter to court. This action can result in the matter
being resolved at an early stage.
At Churchill Collect we can assist in your decision if you
wish to pursue the matter through the courts. Should court
action be your desired route then your case would be passed
to our Solicitors.
Over Taylor & Biggs
are a leading firm of Solicitors, based in the South-West
of England, with whom we have worked for over 10 years. We
can safely say they offer an exceptional service and always
put the client's interest first.
After referring a case to our Solicitors, they would assess
the best form of action and, after due consideration of the
issues raised in your claim, would advise the precise course
of action to be taken on your behalf.
A letter before action (LBA) would be issued to the debtor
demanding full payment of all monies owed. If no response
is gained from the debtor or they do not offer an acceptable
amount, consideration would then be made to pursue the matter
through either the High court or the County court. No action
would be taken without seeking approval of the client and
the costs of such actions being fully explained.
Once judgement has been obtained a request would be made
to enforce the warrant by seizure and sale of the debtor's
goods. Other methods of enforcement include attachment of
earnings, a charging order or garnishee proceedings.
